Wild Amongst the Barley
My daily walk takes me alongside this field - from Anderby village down to the Creek, via the footpath at the back of Ronam Cottage.
I was inspired to paint this scene because I love the changing colours of the barley crop throughout the summer. And the old wooden telegraph poles that make you feel you’ve travelled back in time just add that touch of nostalgia.
