Towards the Light

The beach in the morning, looking towards the sun is dazzling. It’s hard to make out where the sea and sand and sky meet. Everything is pale and shimmery and the view looks endless. For this painting I wanted to pick out the few spots of colour I could see - the outfall post and its reflection in the wet sand, and the reflection of the walker’s jackets.
 
This chalk pastel painting measures 12x8 inches unframed, 15x12 inches framed. It's available framed or unframed - just choose your frame and mount colours at the checkout.

Frames come with a Perspex front to avoid damage in transit. Framed paintings are carefully packaged in bubble wrap and a sturdy cardboard box to reach you in excellent condition.
 
Unframed paintings are lightly sprayed with a chalk pastel fixative to avoid smudging, but please handle with care. It is delivered flat in a card-backed envelope.
