Summer Down the Lane

I just had to paint this glimpse of a country lane meandering into the distance. It brings memories of long, summer days, and long, sunny walks.
This is Roman Bank, near Anderby Creek, part of the route I walk everyday.
I love the deep shadows, the hot sky and the pretty frills of the cowslip - a sure sign of summer.
This chalk pastel painting measures 12x8 inches unframed, 15x12 inches framed. It's available framed or unframed - just choose your frame and mount colours at the checkout.

Frames come with a Perspex front to avoid damage in transit. Framed paintings are carefully packaged in bubble wrap and a sturdy cardboard box to reach you in excellent condition.
 
Unframed paintings are lightly sprayed with a chalk pastel fixative to avoid smudging, but please handle with care. It is delivered flat in a card-backed envelope.
