Rapeseed Reflections

I paint a rapeseed field scene every year. I just love the way a rapeseed field in full bloom lights up the entire landscape, even on the dullest of days. It brings such joy to a view. 
 
This painting is inspired by a view from my daily walk down to the beach from my house. It incorporates several of my favourite things to paint - the glorious yellow of the rapeseed, a moody sky, a lonely little farm house, and all of it reflected in water. 
 
This chalk pastel painting measures 12x8 inches unframed, 15x12 inches framed. It's available framed or unframed.
 
Frames come with a Perspex front to avoid damage in transit. Framed paintings are carefully packaged in bubble wrap and a sturdy cardboard box to reach you in excellent condition.
 
Unframed paintings are lightly sprayed with a chalk pastel fixative to avoid smudging, but please handle with care. It is delivered flat in a card-backed envelope.
