Afternoon Sun at Anderby Creek

I walk to Anderby Creek beach every day from my house in the village. So I get to see this beautiful scene all year round, in all weathers and at all times of day. Which is why I never get bored of painting it! I love trying to capture how special these houses are, nestled in the dunes, with their amazing views over the sea.    

I've painted this in watercolour, and have added details in ink and dry media.

I've used 150gsm, 100% acid free, cotton rag paper which is handmade in India from recycled cotton garments.

I love the uniqueness of each sheet of paper, and how it can have a mind of its own!

This painting measures approximately 12x8 inches unframed, 15x12 inches framed.

It's available framed or unframed - just choose your frame and mount colours at the checkout.

If you're choosing to purchase the painting unframed, you can easily frame it yourself in an A4-sized frame. 

The paper has deckled edges so if you buy it unframed, you can choose to frame it in a way that showcases the lovely organic edges of the paper.   

Frames come with a Perspex front to avoid damage in transit.

Framed paintings are carefully packaged in bubble wrap and a sturdy cardboard box to reach you in excellent condition.

Unframed paintings are delivered flat in a card-backed envelope.
