After the Rain

One of my favourite walks from my house takes me past this lonely farmhouse on a very quiet lane. I took a quick photo of it on a day when the weather was changing fast, going from dark stormy skies, to sunshine trying to break through. It created some dramatic colours which I knew I was going to have to paint when I got back home to my studio. 
 
This chalk pastel painting measures 12x8 inches unframed, 15x12 inches framed. It's available framed or unframed - just choose your frame and mount colours at the checkout.

Frames come with a Perspex front to avoid damage in transit. Framed paintings are carefully packaged in bubble wrap and a sturdy cardboard box to reach you in excellent condition.
 
Unframed paintings are lightly sprayed with a chalk pastel fixative to avoid smudging, but please handle with care. It is delivered flat in a card-backed envelope.
