Beach Cabin monochrome

Beach Cabin monochrome

This monochrome study is of a beach cabin nestled in the dunes between Anderby Creek and Chapel Point - one of my favourite walks.

I often paint a subject in monochrome before tackling the painting. By taking out the colour, I can focus on the atmosphere I want to create. In this study, I wanted to capture that feeling of a bright, breezy summer’s day just in tones of black and white.

This chalk pastel painting measures 8x6 inches unframed, 11x9 inches framed. It's available framed or unframed - just choose your frame and mount colours at the checkout.

If you'd like some help choosing, select any colours from the drop down options and add a message at the checkout. I'll get back to you with my recommendation and then you can take your time choosing without fear of losing out on the painting.

Frames come with a Perspex front to avoid damage in transit. Framed paintings are carefully packaged in bubble wrap and a sturdy cardboard box to reach you in excellent condition.

Unframed paintings are lightly sprayed with a chalk pastel fixative to avoid smudging, but please handle with care. It is delivered flat in a card-backed envelope.

All prices include postage and packing to UK mainland.
