Dark Sky over Sea Lavender

This little painting is inspired by summer walks at Gibraltar Point and Saltfleet, where the sea lavender was truly doing it's thing. And I got a bit obsessed painting it! 
 
This painting measures 11x9 inches. It's ready to hang in a white frame with white mount.
 
It's painted in oil pastels on 300gsm watercolour paper.  The nature of oil pastels gives this painting a more abstracted style, with lush, vibrant colours. And the rough texture of the watercolour paper means pops of white peek through, giving added depth to the painting. 
 
Frames come with a Perspex front to avoid damage in transit. Framed paintings are carefully packaged in bubble wrap and a sturdy cardboard box to reach you in excellent condition.
